Christina Merlino has been a life long student of food and its effects on one's health. Her practice is rooted in the fact that food can both hurt and heal the individual, and teaches clients that there is a difference between "eating to live" and "living to eat". Most Americans today do not realize that much of what is on their grocer's shelf is not really food and that our bodies are literally starving for nutrients. One begins to feel the difference between just "getting through the day" and what it's like to actually feel "alive" when the diet includes the types of foods that our bodies were designed to eat.

During the initial consultation, Christina uses case history along with Nutrition Response Testing (N.R.T.^TM) to discover which foods are working for you and which ones are working against you. N.R.T.^TM is also used to find out whether or not the supplements you are currently taking are actually providing any benefit to your health and if not, N.R.T.^TM will then be utilized to design the right supplement program for you.

Christina will work with you to help make the transition to a "whole foods" diet as effortless as possible, including taking a trip with you to your local grocery store to teach you the differences between real foods and clever imitations. She has many easy recipes and tips to share with her clients. Christina is also trained in the use of Bach Flower Essences and often recommends them to help clients adjust to lifestyle changes. It is only when the mind and the soul are in harmony that healing can take place.
